DAY 1 : Arrival in Srinagar, houseboat stay |
| On your arrival at the Srinagar International Airport, you will be taken for a 35 minutes drive through the heart of New Srinagar city, passing the Abdullah bridge which connects the banks of the Jhelum river. Proceed for an hour of Shikara ride in the lake. Dinner and overnight stay in houseboat. |
DAY 2 : Srinagar city tour |
| After breakfast, we proceed for a half day city tour that includes visit to the famous Mughal gardens of Nishat and Shalimar, the Chasme Shahi Garden, Shalimar Bagh (Abode of love) and Shankaracharya Temple. We will explore the gardens and later drive back to the hotel for a dinner and Overnight stay at hotel. |
DAY 3 : Gulmarg day trip (56 kilometers / 2-3 hrs drive) one way |
| After Breakfast, drive to Gulmarg (55 kms/2 hrs). You can do Khilanmarg sightseeing here by gondola ride at your own cost, return back to Srinagar. Dinner and overnight stay at hotel. |
DAY 4 : Sonmarg day trip (85 kms/ 2 hrs) |
| After breakfast, drive to Sonmarg (90 kms/3 hrs) enroute Kheer Bhawani Darshan. On arrival at Sonmarg, visit Thajjwas glacier (own cost) . Return back to Srinagar. Dinner and overnight stay in hotel. |
DAY 5 : Srinagar to Pahalgam (97 kilometers / 3-4 hrs drive) |
| After breakfast, we drive to Pahalgam via Pampore, Avantipura and the village of Bijbehara which remains famous as the bread basket of Kashmir. We switch from the national highway 1A at Khanabal and drive through the second largest city of Anantnag. From here the road turns scenic as we drive parallel on the Lidder river flowing from the opposite direction. In Pahalgam, check-in at the hotel and spend the rest of the day at leisure. Overnight stay at the hotel in Pahalgam. |
DAY 6 : Pahalgam city tour |
| In Pahalgam, visit Betaab Valley and Chandanwari as well as take a horse riding trip to Baisaran meadows.(at your own cost). After sightseeing, rest of the day will be at leisure for individual activities. Overnight in hotel. |
DAY 7 : Pahalgam to Patnitop (200 kms/ 5 hrs) |
| After breakfast, transfers to Patnitop. Check-in at hotel, refresh yourself & explore the surroundings on your own. Evening return back to hotel for overnight stay. |
DAY 8 : Patnitop to Katra (100 kms/ 3 hrs) |
| Morning, after Breakfast, check out from Patnitop Hotel and drive to Katra. On arrival, check in to hotel and day free for leisure activities. Overnight stay at hotel. |
DAY 9 : Vaishno Devi – Darshan Day |
| Morning after breakfast trek / horse ride from Katra to Mata Vaishnodevi Darshan (15.kms one way). Back at Katra for Dinner and overnight stay at hotel. |
DAY 10 : Shivkhori day trip from Katra (70 kms, 2 hrs one way) : |
| Morning after breakfast, drive from Katra to Shivkhori, Baba Dansar and Naudevi Darshan (95 kms/ 3-4 hrs). Back to Katra for Dinner and overnight stay at hotel. |
DAY 11 : Katra to Jammu city tour (50 kms/ 2 hrs) |
| After breakfast, check out from hotel and transfers to Jammu. Check in and after freshening up, visit Raghunath Temple, Bage Bahu and Kali Mata Mandir. Overnight at Jammu |
DAY 12 : Departure/transfers to Jammu Airport/ Railway Station |
| After breakfast, proceed for departure to Jammu Airport/Railway Station, to board your onward destination Train/Flight with memories of A Lifetime Trip. |
